Optimize Your Health with Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA)

I’m always looking for ways to support your health in the most comprehensive and holistic way possible. That’s why I’m excited to introduce Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), a non-invasive lab test that can help uncover hidden mineral imbalances, heavy metal toxicity, and much more.

I’ve personally used HTMA to uncover imbalances affecting my thyroid and metabolic health, and I’ve seen incredible benefits. Now, I’m offering HTMA to my clients, and I’m thrilled to share how this tool can help you optimize your health and wellness.

What is Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA)?

HTMA is a lab test that measures the levels of minerals in your hair, which reflect the mineral content in other tissues of your body. Think of it as a painless, non-invasive tissue biopsy that provides valuable insights into your overall health.

The beauty of HTMA is that it gives us a long-term snapshot of how your body is absorbing and utilizing minerals. The test looks at the mineral content of the last 3 months, providing a more complete picture of your body’s mineral balance than a standard blood test. Blood tests, while important, can be influenced by short-term factors like your last meal or a recent stressful event.

HTMA, on the other hand, shows how your body has been absorbing minerals over a longer period, offering a much clearer and more reliable reflection of your health.

Why HTMA May Be More Accurate Than Blood Tests

You might be wondering, “Why can’t blood tests do the same thing?” It’s a great question! While blood tests are essential for diagnosing certain conditions, they only measure the minerals present in your blood serum at that moment in time. Because blood is constantly trying to maintain balance, your body will pull minerals from organs and tissues (like your bones) to stabilize the blood’s mineral levels when needed.

For example, if blood calcium levels are low, the body will release calcium from bones to stabilize the levels in the blood. This is why blood tests don’t always give us the full picture of mineral status in the body.

HTMA provides a much clearer picture of mineral levels in the tissues, giving us insight into the average levels of minerals your body has absorbed over the past few months. This makes it a much more reliable tool for uncovering long-term deficiencies or toxicities.

Who Should Consider HTMA?

HTMA is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about their mineral profile, but it’s especially beneficial for those who:

  • Struggle with chronic health conditions that haven’t responded to conventional treatments
  • Have autoimmune conditions
  • Are experiencing unexplained fatigue, digestive issues, or hormonal imbalances
  • Want to optimize their wellness and gain deeper insights into their body’s needs

Mineral deficiencies can leave the body more vulnerable to disease and infection, while heavy metal toxicity can impair nutrient absorption and contribute to mental, emotional, and physical health challenges. HTMA can help reveal these imbalances, guiding you toward a more personalized, effective wellness plan.

How to Get Started with HTMA

If you’re ready to dive deeper into your health, you can begin by scheduling an initial consultation with me (an online or in-person Acupuncture & Holistic Healing Session). During this consultation, we’ll review your health history, discuss your goals, and determine if HTMA is the right option for you.

Once we decide to move forward, I’ll collect a hair sample from you (either in person or by sending you a simple kit to mail back), and send it to the lab for testing. Once we receive the results, we’ll go over them together, create a customized wellness plan, and begin working toward achieving your health goals.

Pricing:
The complete HTMA program, including the test, consultation, and ongoing support, is $300. I also offer a 25% discount on supplements if you purchase a 3-month supply up front. For continued support and re-testing, I offer maintenance packages at $150 per month.

Why HTMA is a Game-Changer for Your Health

HTMA is more than just a test—it’s a tool that can empower you with the knowledge needed to transform your health. By understanding the mineral imbalances or toxicities your body may be dealing with, we can create a more effective, personalized plan for healing and vitality.

If you’re looking for a holistic approach to health, HTMA could be the key to unlocking the answers you’ve been searching for. Ready to get started?
