Yin Yoga to Open the Mind

Connecting to the Manomaya Kosha

Yang Yoga and Mindfulness

Quite often in an active Yoga practice, we value the wisdom of the mind over the feedback of the body. Let’s be mindful of that in today’s Yoga session, shining a light on the mind itself and noticing it’s habitual patterns.

I’ll be challenging you a bit more today with some balancing postures that may trigger your mind’s need for perfection. Remember that your abilities in your Yoga practice do not define you. It’s the journey and what you learn about yourself along the way that makes it so transforming. Just noticing your thought patterns, and that they’re not always true, will bring you a lot further today.

Also remember that you can ask questions below or within the YouTube video!

Yin Yoga to Open the Mind

These obstacles are ALL in the mind.

In today’s session, we’ll explore each of these obstacles. You’ll have an opportunity to recognize them in your practice and in your life as we spend longer time in each Yin Yoga shape.
